Rather than a “15-minute” formation idea, today I’m suggesting a 3-minute one you can do immediately.
Life-examination is not only about sin, shortcomings, confession, and grace. It can also be about examining our lives to take notice of God’s blessings.
Right now, as soon as you finish reading these words, grab a scrap of paper and spend 3 minutes making a list of God’s blessings in your life — things you want to thank him for. Just 3 minutes . . . full of gratitude.
Let these 3 minutes shape the rest of your day.
(Next month — which begins in a few days! — the discipline of service.)
